Their journey

I teach at a school in Dhaka and wanted to see how Finnish teachers are trained, not just read about it. Shabnam apu was strict about my SOP. She kept asking what I'd actually done in the classroom, until my answers got specific. The offer came in spring. I'm in Jyväskylä now, and the biggest surprise is how little homework the younger children get and how much they trust their teachers. I'm taking notes for when I go back.
