I thought a university of applied sciences meant a step down. Tasnim apu spent half an hour showing me what a UAS degree is actually like: real company projects, a placement, a thesis that employers care about. I prepared for the entrance exam with past papers, and the first practice test went badly. The second went better and the third was fine. I'm in Helsinki now, and the thing I didn't expect is how normal it feels to speak up in class.
